How to Fix Setup Failed 301003 Error on HomePod

Before going ahead, make sure you have fully covered the basic requirements:

Solution #1: Check Your Wi-Fi Connection

HomePod requires your local Wi-Fi connection to work. Make sure it’s working properly. Open Settings app on your iOS device → Wi-Fi → turn off Wi-Fi. Now, wait for some time and check out if it is working effectively or not. If Internet hasn’t yet returned to normalcy, remove the Wi-Fi network, restart your device and then connect to the network again. Open Settings app on your iOS device → Wi-Fi → tap on the “i” button next to the Wi-Fi network → tap on Forget this device and confirm. Now, restart your device and reconnect to the network. Solution #2: Turn OFF/ON Bluetooth On your iOS Device

HomePod requires Bluetooth connection to communicate with your iOS device. Trying turning it OFF/On Bluetooth. Open Settings app on your iOS device → Bluetooth → turn off the switch. Now, wait for a couple of seconds and turn it back on. Now, try setting up the speaker. If you get through the process without any issue, wonderful! But if you still face the problem, move to the next trick.

Solution #3: Reset HomePod Manually

Reset the speaker manually. To do so, unplug the HomePod and plug it back in. Then, press and hold on top of the speaker. Keep pressing until the three beeps sound is heard. Once you have manually factory reset your speaker, you shouldn’t have any problem while setting it up. Go ahead with the process. Still No luck?
